Instrument Sales operates under a number of delivery channel models.
ISS operates under a number of specialized distribution channels beyond the typical warehouse distribution model. Our ability to understand and optimize these different channels has been a key to growing our manufacturing and remanufacturing operations.
Production: The most common channel of shipping for most business-to-business customers is; ISS manufactured or distributed product being shipped directly to our client.
Pallet: We ship product to a fulfillment warehouse for our client.
Ship Direct: We ship directly to our clients end customer, or to a dealership. The key factor in this model is complete transparency. We process the order via EDI and the end user never knows we exist. Learn more about our EDI/Ship Direct program.
License: In this model the client gives us the license to manufacture their product to their specifications. ISS will ship the finished product in the clients’ packaging to the end customer.
Mini: We ship to a Tier-1 automotive supplier who then in turn ships to another remanufacturing center. At times we also ship directly to the remanufacturing center.
Remanufacturing: This is the typical remanufacturing exchange system. Learn more about it here.
Our ability to adapt our logistics and pricing to whatever distribution channel the customer needs has always been a core competency within our company.
