Engineering Capabilities:

Mechanical:

• Utilize Solidworks to create 3D drawings of products and components
• Build prototypes of mechanical components
• Reverse engineering of existing products
• Work with suppliers on ongoing issues with existing products
• Perform “First Article” inspections

Manufacturing:

• Write work instructions for production
• Set up manufacturing cells
• Build tooling and jigs for production
• Design and build test fixtures for mechanical testing

Electrical:

• Design and build test fixtures for electrical testing of fuel senders, cables, gauges, etc
• Build and maintain design books for new products
• Work with suppliers on ongoing issues with existing products
• Perform “First Article” inspections
• Reverse engineering of existing products

Data Storage:

All ISS and client data is stored on our central server farm in Portland, Oregon. Data is backed up nightly and back up archives are stored off site. All FCS drawings, schematics, prints and documentation are protected with these same data fail safe precautions.

Code Vaulting:

Instrument Sales & Service understands how critical it is to properly safeguard source code from loss or piracy. A disruption to the access of the source code would be catastrophic to a program such as this. ISS utilizes a data vaulting service provided by AT&T called Synaptic Storage.
