Controller

     Responsible for the financial affairs of ISS. In more detail, responsible for the management and maintenance of general accounting systems to provide records of the assets, liabilities and financial transactions of the organization.  Provides financial reports covering sales, earnings, profits, cash balances, budgets and other financial results.  Reviews daily financial transactions and resolves questions with appropriate department manager. Maintains and oversees the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers of the company, financial statements, bank reconciliations and general tax reports.  Develops and directs the operation of accounting systems and procedures to reduce costs and obtain improved information.  In charge of the issuance of credit and collection of accounts receivable through supervision of the Accounting Department.  In charge of providing leadership and continuous development and improvement for the Accounting Manager and Accounting Department.  Prepares and possibly presents the monthly, quarterly and annual Board of Directors reports.

Experience:

8 or more years of accounting, reporting and consolidations experience with fast paced national scope manufacturer, distributor or service organization.  Public accounting (audit) experience a plus.  Automotive or OEM manufacturing experience a plus.  Must have excellent PC and software skills.  Must show extreme aptitude for detail.  Must have good supervisory skills and ability to work cross functionally.  Must have a good knowledge and understanding of GAAP and knowledge of FASB pronouncements.  Must have great written and oral communication skills.  Must strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of job.

Education:

BS or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline with not less than 8 years of relevant experience.  CPA or CFA preferred.

OEM Assembly Technician

Job Summary:
Performs a variety of assembly operations to assemble small and medium sized precision units or
sub-assemblies involving a considerable number of parts. Works from drawings, specifications,
sketches and verbal instructions. Work requires high degree of skill, precision assembling techniques, testing and documenting. May work with customers and sales engineer to build and document prototype units. May also build small production runs.

 

Essential Functions:
1.Enter Bill of Materials into computer system for assemblies and kits.
2.Assemble prototype units to customer specification, blueprints, sketches and samples.
3.Following Fulfillment Center guidelines pull parts for assemblies and kits.
4.Document assemblies and maintain rev. control and files.
5.Work with outside vendors as required.
6.Work with customers to develop and evaluate prototype assemblies.
7.Control assembly inventory/cycle count.
8.Test assemblies.
9.Performs equipment maintenance and checks calibration.
10.Work with Purchasing to source parts and obtain supplies.
11.Set up and maintain a clean and safe work area.
12.Back up for the assembly of Cable Craft cables.
13.Other duties as requested

Experience:

A shop environment with various electrical assembly equipment and shop equipment such as die machine, Swage machine for crimping, chop saw for cutting, etc. Ability to use computer for data entry, documentation, and mechanical drawings.

Education:

An AA technical degree or equivalent is required
