Instrument
Sales and Service was founded almost 50 years ago.
Soon after, ISS pioneered the use of pyrometers
in the heavy-duty trucking industry. As demand grew,
a separate manufacturing business, ISSPRO, was created
to produce pyrometers and other instruments with
special
emphasis on heavy-duty applications. In 1992, ISSPRO
sold Instrument Sales and Service in order to focus
on manufacturing. Although now a separate company,
we’ve kept strong ties to our ISSPRO roots.
We are the largest distributor of ISSPRO gauges
anywhere.
GAUGES
This complete line of gauges offers an easy-to-read
black dial with white numbers and is available in
polished or black bezels. ISSPRO has one of the widest
ranges of mechanical and electronic tachometers and
speedometers available.
PYROMETER
ISSPRO was the first to develop pyrometers for the
trucking industry more than 40 years ago. They continue
to make the widest range of pyrometers and accessories
for everything from Dodge diesel pickups to log skidders.
ISS has expanded on this heavy-duty specialization
to put together the largest assortment of pyrometers
and accessories available.
Pyrometer: Definition
A pyrometer is an exhaust gas temperature gauge.
By knowing what the temperature is, the driver
can tell
when there is a problem with the engine. He can
use it to drive more efficiently in order to prolong
engine life and reduce fuel consumption.
