However, instead of selecting two (or more) separate remanufacturing companies, ISS can be the single source for your remanufacturing program by coupling our Kent location with another existing ISS location in Portland, Denver or Phoenix. This gives the client the security it seeks in the event of natural disaster. This would cause the least disruption to the clients business and provide streamlined processes, built-in infrastructure, coordinated management, vast expertise and the economies of scale of working with a single supplier.

Transitioning to a Dual-Location/Single-Source Provider

It is simpler for ISS to adapt a second location to remanufacture product than it is for the client to undergo the transition of two remanufacturing companies. This is because ISS has already developedrepeatable model and processes to make the opening of a new reman center location easy for our organization:

Built-in infrastructure

  • Software: ISS already has an enterprise software system that manages transactions in all of its locations. Initiating the same remanufacturing software systems used in Kent in another location will be extremely simple.
  • Phone/communications network: ISS uses a centralized phone system to easily transfer calls seamlessly between locations. Our contact management and web order processing are also available through all locations.

Built-in quality processes

  • All locations are ISO9001:2008 Certified and adhere to the same quality processes. Because our processes are extremely well-documented, we will be able to quickly transfer reman operations that are second nature in our Kent location to another location.

Built-in knowledge

  • Many of our managers have transferred from one locations to another. Because of this and the depth of experience in our management staff, ISS knows each of these facilities, the local labor market, and local vendors inside and out. We have the expertise, knowledge, depth and breadth of experience to operate a remanufacturing center in any of our locations. ISS also has management and staff with experience in remanufacturing who either live in these other locations or would consider relocating if positions were available.
